Symptom

  • The need to activate User Status for Maintenance Order in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition was identified.
  • The User Status profile configuration for Maintenance Orders in the Plant Maintenance area was not found in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Cause

This is product strategy that user status is not supported in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition for Asset Management.

Resolution

It is not possible to activate user status in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition for Asset Management. For Maintenance Order, Phase Control codes for new Scope Items can be used from 2011CE onwards which details can be found in following SAP Help Portal: Phase Control Codes
