3535561 - User Status activation for Maintenance Order is not possible

Symptom

The need to activate User Status for Maintenance Order in S/4HANA Public Cloud was identified.
The User Status profile configuration for Maintenance Orders in the Plant Maintenance area was not found in S/4HANA Public Cloud.

Reproducing the Issue

Cause

This is product strategy that user status is not supported in S/4HANA Public Cloud for Asset Management.

Resolution

It is not possible to activate user status in S/4HANA Public Cloud for Asset Management. For Maintenance Order, Phase Control codes for new Scope Items can be used from 2011CE onwards which details can be found in following Help documentation: Phase Control Codes
