3535729 - Restricting Access to the ONB Dashboard search bar - Onboardig

Symptom

Managers are able to expand the filter and search for employees by name. As they type in the search box, they have visibility to all names in the system, including pending starts outside of their reporting structure.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access the dashboard.
  2. Notice that the dashboard only contains the onboardees reporting directly to the manager.
  3. Expand the filter.
  4. Type a name in the name search box.
  5. Observe that names outside of the manager's reporting structure are listed.

Cause

This is an existing expected behavior. 

Resolution

All the users appear in the user search, however the details of ONB2Process will only be visible for users who are part of the target population for the logged in user.
