3535936 - Dependent's Model OnSave Business Rule Assignment Error - 2H2024

Business rule is showing an assignment error message for the dependents model business rule when assigned under the onsave event type in the BCUI.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Log in to the system.

2. Create a business rule on the dependents model using the scenario “Trigger Cross-Entity Rules”.

3. Use similar conditions as per the screenshot below from the sales demo instance.

4. Go to BCUI Manage Business Configuration > Dependents (personRelationship Info Element).

5. Add this rule under the Onsave event type and save it.

6. After saving, please go to the business rule and check the error as “ There is no assignment information available” as per the screenshot below.

Currently, this is a expected behavior as per system design.

It is not possible to check the dependents business rule visiting to employment details from Dependents Model, which is a invalid usage due to no employments of Dependents.
