3536561 - Issue with Quick Action: Create Same-Level Position (Copy All Fields) - 2H2024

When using the quick action "Create Same-Level Position (Copy All Fields)" via Manage Team Positions, an error message "You can’t save without making any changes" is displayed.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Position Management - Quick Action

1. Proxy as the relevant user.
2. Navigate to "Manage Team Position".
3. Select any position and click on "Copy Position".
4. Click on "Save". The error message "You can’t save without making any changes" will be displayed.

• The issue will be fixed via patch 2411p6 which is scheduled on 26th Nov 2024 in Preview and 28th Nov 2024 in Production environments.

Workaround

Navigate to Position Org Chart, select on the position you want to copy, click on Actions - Create Same-Level Position.
