While trying to create foreign currency remeasurement run for payables system throws error message as 'ForeignCurrencyRem run is currently active for fiscal year YYYY / period MM '

SAP Business ByDesign 

1. Go to the Payables work center.
2. Go to the Foreign currency remeasurement run for payables sub view.
3. Search for Run 'XYZ'.
4. Navigate to the error messages tab.

Error: 'ForeignCurrencyRem run is currently active for fiscal year YYYY / period MM'.

In the list view of all foreign currency remeasurement runs for payables, it can be observed that parallel processing of the runs has been carried out.

Subsequent runs executed as copies for the same period intended for the actual run 'XYZ,' or with a set of books restriction, resulting in the mentioned error message.

This is the expected behavior.

This indicates that all relevant items for the period 'MM' have already been processed and posted. Before creating another foreign currency remeasurement run for payables, it is essential to verify whether it pertains to the same period 'MM,' which has already been successfully processed, to prevent such error messages.

Including the Set of Books as a selection criterion for these runs is highly recommended.
