Symptom
When adding a new subset in BPMN then changing the default format of an element, the changes are applied to all other subsets in that same notation.
Reproducing the Issue
1. Added new BPMN subset
2. Selected task > Default format > changed Background color/Border color > Saved
3. Checked other subsets
Result: Scenario replicated - when changing default format for any subset, all other subsets in the notation gets updated
Resolution
Changing the default format will apply to all subsets of that notation. For instance, if you adjust the background color of the Task element, the system will automatically apply this change to all BPMN subsets (see user guide: Define Default Colors and Font Formats for Element Types) However, you can still override these settings when formatting an element in the editor, as detailed in the section on Formatting Elements.
