Symptom

Explores an effective method for collecting Single Sign-On (SSO) trace information in a Datasphere tenant.

Resolution

To get a valid SSO trace, perform the following steps:

  1. In Datasphere: System -> Administration -> Security
  2. In "Authentication Method" section, select "SAML Single Sign-On (SSO)".
  3. Finish step 1~3 of the "SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) Configuration" section.
  4. In step 4 of the "SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) Configuration" section, after clicking "Verify Account", the following pop-up window appears. Then copy the login URL.
  5. Open an new window with privacy mode and then open developer tools.
  6. Paste the login URL you copied in the previous step into your privacy mode browser(Make sure developer tools is opened before you paste the URL).
  7. Enter credentials on the next page.
  8. After the credentials verification is completed, In Developer Tools, click the "Export HAR" button.

After that, upload the HAR file in the case.
