3537444 - Operation Field Not Displayed in Account Assignment View of PR or PO After S/4 HANA Upgrade

Symptom

  • After creating a Purchase Requisition from a Maintenance Order, the Operation field (COBL-VORNR_AUF) is not visible in the Account Assignment tab of the Purchase Requisition item, although Maintenance Order has Operation Account Assignment active.
  • The missing field may lead to Error "Order xxx requires assignment to an operation number" - Message No. ERP_CO_OLC_E003
  • This issue has arisen following the S/4 upgrade of an ECC system, where previously the field was visible.
