3537477 - Confirmation Update Runs Failure Due to Temporary Lock Errors

• System throws the error: "Technical error APACR_APPL_LOG 190; report an incident during confirmation update runs."
• The error occurs during the execution of the Confirmation Update Runs in the Supply Planning work center.
• The error is accompanied by locking errors.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the Supply Planning work center.
2. Select Confirmation Update Runs under Automated Actions.
3. Select the relevant Run ID and show All Logs.
4. Open the corresponding Application Log ID
5. Navigate to the Results tab and expand all sections.
6. here all errors are displayed.

The errors are identified as temporary lock errors. These occur when users edit sales orders during the start and end of the run, preventing the run from locking these orders. 

1. Adjust the frequency of the run from every 15 minutes to every 1 or 2 or more hours.
2. Ensure that users refrain from editing sales orders while the run is being executed.
3. Proceed with executing the run and check the results.
