It is possible to create custom sources in the configuration for Event-Based Revenue Recognition. These can then be used as revenue sources combined with the pre-delivered assignment rule.
Use custom sources if you want to split recognized revenue by posting to different accounts. To achieve this, ensure that the revenue accounts in the account determination in Sales are divided and then assigned to distinct custom sources in Event-Based Revenue Recognition.
