3538203 - Unable to Trigger I-9 Section 2 Correction Task - Onboarding

An error is encountered when attempting to trigger the I-9 Section 2 correction task

The error message displayed is: "The previous sections of Form I-9 are incomplete for the selected user. Please complete them to proceed."

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Navigate to manage data.
2. Create New > Trigger I-9 Flow.
3. Complete the fields with the necessary information and save.
4. The error message displayed is: "The previous sections of Form I-9 are incomplete for the selected user. Please complete them to proceed."

The issue is caused by an open I-9 task for the user.

1. Navigate to I-9 user data and I-9 audit trail.
2. Find all entries with the userId
3. Correct the status to SECTION2_SIGNED.
4. Save the changes and reattempt to trigger the I-9 Section 2 correction task.
