3538203 - Unable to Trigger I-9 Section 2 Correction Task - Onboarding

• An error is encountered when attempting to trigger the I-9 Section 2 correction task
• The error message displayed is: "The previous sections of Form I-9 are incomplete for the selected user. Please complete them to proceed."

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Navigate to manage data.
2. Create New > Trigger I-9 Flow.
3. Complete the fields with the necessary information and save.
4. The error message displayed is: "The previous sections of Form I-9 are incomplete for the selected user. Please complete them to proceed."

The issue is caused by an open I-9 task for the user. And due to some technical reason it cannot be completed.

Need to update the status of I-9 User Data and  I-9 Audit Trail.

Please follow steps below:

1. Go to Manage Data >> I-9 User Data and search with user id
2. Click on Take Action >> Make correction
3. Update the status to  SECTION 2 SIGNED
4. Save
5. Go to Manage Data >> I-9 Audit Trail and search with user id
6. There are multiple records, find the lates one with biggest Sequence Number (e.g. if there are 3 records, update the one with Sequence Number=3 )
7. Click on Take Action >> Make correction
8. Update the status to  SECTION 2 SIGNED
9. Save
