3538335 - Unread Comment alert icon shows for activity in goal page after the activity is archived by meeting capture - Continuous Performance Management

The "Unread Comment" alert icon is displayed on the goal page, after the activity is archived in a meeting.

SAP SuccessFactors Continuous Performance Management

1. Create an activity and link it to a goal.

2. Post a comment on the activity.

3. Archive the activity in a meeting.

Note:

You can configure which activity is to be archived after meeting is captured via the tool "Continuous Performance Management Configuration" > Clear after Capturing Meeting.

4. Check the goal page and notice that the "Unread Comment" alert icon is displayed.

This is current expected behavior.

The meeting capture is viewed as an update to the activity comment by the system. This happens to the activities that will be cleared/archived after meeting is captured.

The engineering team are discussing with the product manager on the behavior. Currently there is no decision if the behavior will be changed.
