3538452 - OAuth2 Authorization Code credential artifact shows Unauthorized status in Security Material

Symptom

In SAP Cloud Integration (former: CPI), the integration developer is trying to create an OAuth2 Authorization Code credentials artifact in Security Material. After maintaining the parameters Client ID, Client Secret, Authorization URL and Token Service URL based on the values generated when creating the OAuth client, and then deploying it, the credential shows Unauthorized status, not Deployed status.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
