Symptom
- When editing the Production Bill Of Operation, 500 error occurs while adding a planning mark and reporting point under required operation.
- The system displays the error message: "500 SAP Internal Server Error".
- This issue prevents it from editing Bill of operation and impacts the normal production progress.

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Planning and Production master data work center.
- Go to the Bill of Operations view and find required BOO ID.
- Select relevant operation and choose Insert.
- Mark the checkboxes for Planning mark and Reporting point.
- The system throws an error.
Cause
There is a synchronization issue between the planning view of the Bill of Operations and the Bill of Operations hierarchy.
Resolution
- Go to the Planning and Production master data work center.
- Find the required Bill of Operations and edit it.
- Go to the Planning View Tab.
- Choose "Update planning view button" for synchronization.
- Save and Close, then reopen the Bill of Operation.
- Go to the Structure and select relevant operation
- Choose insert and mark the checkboxes for Planning mark and Reporting point.
- System updates the changes.
- Save and close the BOO.
