3538774 - BI Launchpad Session Timeout Configuration Not Working in Netweaver Application Server

Symptom

  • The BI Launchpad session timeout configuration in BOE web.xml does not take effect after modification.
  • Despite changing the default value of 20 minutes to 29 minutes, the application still times out after 20 minutes.
  • The issue persists even after clearing the temp cache directory for the NW AS portal and browser cache, and restarting the NW AS Java system.
  • The issue also persists after modifying the web.xml in BOE warfiles and redeploying on Netweaver AS
