3538862 - Fields Sequence Changes not applied to UI

As an admin, you had changed the order for one field, but the order is not reflected into UI.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to any Business Object, take Customers as an example.
2. Go to Account work center view.
3. Go to any TI view and Start Adaptation.
4. Reorder the field then End Adaptation Mode.

The fields sequence can be impacted by multiple configurations.

• You need to make sure the changes applied to requested page layouts, if one business user assigned multiple business roles, each role assigned different page layout, it will raise a conflict.
• In case the field order displayed not same in adaptation mode and UI, it might a CT related issue and need to generate load.
• An expected behavior based on system design.

Reorder fields in adaptation mode will not overwrite the personalization changes. Here is some system behaviors for different scenarios.

• Scenario 1 -  End users do not have access to reorder fields (Never do the personalization before). Once admin create a KUT field and change the field sequence, then End Adaptation, end user is able to see the new order.
• Scenario 2 -  End users do not have access to reorder fields (Never do the personalization before). Once admin change the sequence of an exist field, then End Adaptation, end user is able to see the new order.
• Scenario 3 -  End users have access to reorder fields (but Never do the personalization before). Once admin reorder the fields, then End Adaptation, end user is able to see the new order.
• Scenario 4 -  End users have access to reorder fields and did the personalization before. Even admin reorder the fields, changes will not reflect to end user UI.
• Scenario 5 -  End users have access to reorder fields and did the personalization before. Even admin create a new KUT field and give a new order for this field, changes will not reflect to end user UI.
