3539515 - Contact Information error 'Enter a valid email address' - 2H 2024

Error Message "Enter a valid email address" when Updating Email Address field.

1. Navigate to Contact Information Portlet
2. Add a username or any other word in email address field
3. When saving it the message pops up "Enter a valid email address"
   
   

The "Activate Email Validation in scorecard" switch was intended to be universal enabled in 2H 2024 and could not be disabled in Company System and Logo Settings anymore.

As a temporary workaround, please reach out Support team to bypass the email validation from backend.

Attention: The backend switch will be deprecated in b2505 by default, please modify configuration and data based on business requirement before b2505.
