Symptom
Dunning notices cannot be created for CPD customers, and the following error is raised:
"The ID of an item output contains special characters, print not possible."
Environment
Cause
For a CPD debtor, the first 4 characters of the name are used in the Application Object ID/Run ID, which identifies an output item.
In the new Output Management, special characters are not allowed in this ID.
Resolution
To resolve the issue, manually remove the special characters from the first 4 characters of the debtor's name.
Currently, there is no automated solution to remove the special characters.
Ensure that the first 4 characters of the CPD debtor's name do not contain any special characters.
