3539943 - How to disable standard Task notification

Symptom

An e-mail with title "Task XXX is assigned to you" was received and it is desired to know how to deactivate it (where XXX is the name/description of the Task).

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Cause

This is a standard message sent by the system.

Resolution

This can be deactivated by following:

  1. Go to Business Configuration > Overview;
  2. Search for and open "Business Task Management for Task Activity processor change";
  3. Unmark the checkbox for subject Task "<TaskLink>" is assigned to you;
  4. Save and close.

Note: This change will reflect to all users.
