3539985 - Synchronization failed between SAP Build Work Zone and SAP Cloud Identity Services when using booster for Joule setup.

• Already have an old subscription of SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition which is subscribed before March 20 2025. 
• When using booster to setup Joule with the existing SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition, there is an error message in the last step.
  • Errors occurred while systems in formation XXX were synchronizing. Navigate to System Landscape > Formations for more details.
    
    
• In the System Landscape > Formations, error detail shows:
  • Synchronization between SAP Build Work Zone System and SAP Cloud Identity Services System has failed.
    SAP Cloud Identity Services System returned the following error for assignment with ID <assignment ID>.
    "failed to process tenant mapping notification: failed to update applications consumed APIs in formation XXX: Failed to get IAS applications during assign operation: failed to get IAS application with clientID <client ID> and tenantID <tennat ID> for UCL App ID <APP ID>: could not get IAS application with client ID <client ID>: no applications found with filter 'clientId eq <client ID>': application in IAS not found"
    
    (The tenantID listed in the error message is the subaccount ID where the SAP Build Work Zone is located.) 

How to identify the SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition is a new or old subscription:

• If the SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition is subscribed before March 20 2025, it's an old subscription.
• In the subaccount > Services > Instances and Subscriptions > click on the three dots of SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition > check the Application Technical Name
  • If the Application Technical Name is SAPLaunchpad, the subscription is old.
    
    
    
    

• • If the Application Technical Name is SAPLaunchpadSMS, the subscription is new. For new subscriptions to SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition, the default authentication method is Identity Authentication. There is no Identity Authentication tab in Site Manager > Settings.
