3540221 - Line item validation error Group Reporting Error "FINCS_ACCTG_INTEG100"

• When running line item validation in group reporting receiving error "Message no. FINCS_ACCTG_INTEG100"
• Item xxxxxx: Subitem 999 is not maximum selection.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

1. Open data monitor 
2. Run line item validation in data monitor
3. Receive Error message 

   "Reclassify the data record manually using manual posting with the special document type of posting level 0C (Adjustment Entry for Universal Document).

   Make sure that on the item xxxxxx, the characteristic values of the drilldown characteristic Subitem should be limited to the maximum selection Z-BC-TT-A.

   Message no. FINCS_ACCTG_INTEG100"

• The current data record cannot be processed it contains a characteristic value 999 for subitem.
• The item is included in a selection present in the error message, however the subitem is not included in the selection for the maximum selection Z-BC-TT-A present in the error message. 

1. In the Define Selections App select the relevant selections (Z-BC-TT-R) present in the error message create the necessary subitem (subitem 999).
2. Follow the steps outlined in the Define Selections App help article.
