3540253 - Automatic Conversion of Planned Orders to Production Orders in PP/DS with CDP configuration

Symptom

  • Upon running Product heuristics (SAP_PP_002) in Characteristics Dependent Planning (CDP) within ePPDS, generated planned orders are automatically converted to production orders with CDP characteristics after transfer to S/4.
  • After making changes to Planned orders with CDP, which were created with tools that do not trigger transfer at creation, the changed planned order gets synced to R/3 or S/4HANA, where it gets automatically converted.
