3540256 - Issue with Automatic Release of Production Order Release Run

• The Order Release Run under Production Control work center does not release the production order which is with In Preparation status as expected.

Production Planning Order

1. Go to Production Control work center.
2. Navigate to the Automated Actions view and choose the option Order Release Run.
3. Select the release run with id and execute the run.

When you check the application log, you can see that an order you expected to be picked up is Not Released picked up by the run to be released. 

• The Production Order Release Due Date was not in the Run Horizon nor in the past and hence not picked up by the run.
• Run Horizon is a value maintained in the Production Order Release Run which determines which orders needs to be picked up for release, based on their "Production Order Release Due Date"

• Once the release due date is in the past or in the run horizon the order will be picked up.
