3540417 - 2H 2024 - ECT-228939 - Enhancements to Forward Propagation Not Working As Expected

ECT-228939 has been introduced and automatically enabled as of the 2411 release. This is intended to help with the forward propagation of fields when they have a parent-child relationship (e.g. 'Building' as a Parent, 'Office' as a Child) as documented in our What's New Viewer.

However, you find that even though you are following the handbook logic correctly, you are still receiving errors of “Pay scale level ABC is not defined for Pay scale group XYZ”, which was the error intended to be fixed with this enhancement.
