3540574 - Absence duration is displayed wrongly on TMS Monthly Calendar View if the absence deduction quantity is changed by absence counting rule.

Symptom

Absence Counting rule together with Absence Counting Configuration has been assigned to an absence time type.

For example, if you request less than 4 hours leave, it will be counted as 0.5 day always.
The 0.5 day shows correctly in Administer Time, or the View Absence popup.
Only from the details view of the absence in the day cell from Time Sheet Calendar Month View, the duration still shows the original requested duration.
The calculated duration by the Absence Counting Rule is ignored.

Resolution

This is a known situation planned to be fixed with 1H 2025. This KBA will be updated with the tentative fix date once it is available.

But this is only a display issue. The duration of the absence is correctly calculated and persisted on DB. So no business impact is seen.
