Symptom

Attempting a Point-In-Time Recovery (PITR) for an SAP HANA database to a timestamp results in an incomplete restore where restore ends up to an earlier time, which leaves a long time gap comparing to the selected timestamp.

For example, a PITR for recover HANA to 2024-10-04 15:00:00 results in a restore only up to 2024-10-03 19:00:08, leaving a 22-hour data gap.
