3540998 - Not possible to create External Pricing Procedure via UI

When trying to create an External Pricing Procedure, it is created by default as "Internal". 

SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2

1. Go to All Settings.
2. Click Pricing Configuration.
3. Go to Pricing Components.
4. Check the Pricing Procedure tab. 
5. At the top-right corner, there is a dropdown list to select "all", "internal" and "external".
6. Select External.
7. Click "+" to create a new one.
8. Fill in the necessary information.
9. Save it.
10. You will see that the Pricing Procedure created is flagged as "Internal".

You expected that it was flagged as "External". 

External Pricing Procedures cannot be created via this path, which means, via UI. 

External Pricing procedure and related Pricing Components can be created only by downloading the customization from connected S4/ERP system and uploading the same to V2 system. 

The current system behavior is as per design.
