Symptom
Overhead item(G) in Material Cost Estimates is not derived from the expected cost center and seems not based on the origin group of the material.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
1. In Define Costing Sheets-->Credit, define 2 lines of different origin groups(Y10 and Y20) and cost centers(001 and 002).
2. In Costing1 of Material Master A, define the origin group as Y10.
3. When executing Create Material Estimate for material A, expect cost center 001 with origin groups Y10 to be derived as overhead item(G) but get cost center 002 with origin groups Y20.
Cause
Origin group of the material is irrelevant. There is always only one valid credit record.
Resolution
This can be done in base configuration of the costing sheet.
Need one base filtering costs with Y10,overhead rates, and then credit with Y10.
Then another base filtering Y20, overhead rates and credit with line Y20.
And then make sure overheads are not calculated twice.
