3541705 - Non-editable Employee Profile Elements 2H2024

Symptom

  • After the 2H2024 release, certain elements in the Employee profile are no longer editable despite having Edit permissions granted.
  • The pencil icon for editing is missing in the  (UserInfo Block)

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • LOD-SF-EP-BCI

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in with Administrator Full access role.
  2. Search for a specific employee profile.
  3. Navigate to the Employment Information (EP Profile ) - Talent Partner/Specialist section. ( User info Block ) with standard field hrid / custom manager 
  4. Observe that the Talent Partner is not editable (pencil icon not there), even if the Talent partner permission View/edit is granted in the Administrator Full access role. 

Cause

Standard element hrId is has Edit permission on this field for target uservia role 'Administrator Full Access (new)'. However, it's not respected in the UI.

Resolution

  • Our engineering team is currently working on this issue.
