3541722 - "You don't have permission to access this page" error when trying to complete the Furnish Equipment Task after 2H 2024 Release

Symptom

The responsible user encounters an error when attempting to open the "Request Equipment" task tile within the "Administrative Tasks" tile on the Home Page. However, they can access the "Offboarding Task" tile without any issues.

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

Solution

  • Engineering Team has created a patch ticket PTCH-45503 for B2411, which will be released on 26-Nov-2024 for Preview and on 28-Nov-2024 for Production. Please check this issue 24 hours later after the patch completion.

Workaround

  • The user responsible to complete the task should have the permission to view the onboarding dashboard. Hence the user should have any one of the following permissions: 

    • To view the status of the compliance forms on the Dashboard, enable Show Compliance Forms Status on the Dashboard.
    • To view the status of the new hire tasks on the Dashboard, enable Show Onboarding Tasks Status on the Dashboard.
    • To view the data collection status on the Dashboard, enable Show Data Collection Status on the Dashboard.
    • To view the status of Form I-9 and E-Verify on the Dashboard, enable Show Form I-9 and E-Verify Status on the Dashboard.
