3541728 - Error "Please Enter the Tax Number for Tax Number Type ABC" During Business Partner Replication

Error message "Please enter the tax number for tax number type ABC" when replicating business partner from S/4HANA via interface BusinessPartnerReplicationIn.

1. Replicate business partner from S/4HANA to Cloud for Customer system.
2. Go to the Administrator work center.
3. Go to the General Setting work center view.
4. Open the Web Service Message Monitoring under System Administration.
5. Select query All.
6. Search for message web service message monitoring for interface BusinessPartnerReplicationIn.
7. You see error message "Please enter the tax number for tax number type ABC".

The cause is that the PartyTaxID value is not properly filled in the message as it is received by C4C.

For example:

     <TaxNumber actionCode="04">

        <CountryCode>ABC</CountryCode>

 <TaxIdentificationNumberTypeCode>3</TaxIdentificationNumberTypeCode>

        <PartyTaxID schemeID=" "/>

      </TaxNumber>

Kindly fill in the corresponding information on your S/4HANA system, and update iFlow into the latest standard version. Then replicate the business partner once more.

You can also try to remove the "Active" selection from of Tax Number Types, if it suits your business needs. You can do it following the steps below:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Overview work center view.
3. Search and open the fine-tuning Activity 'General Business Partner'.
4. Click on the hyperlink for Business Option 'Tax Number Types'.
5. Remove the "Active" flag in the checkbox.
