3542460 - Transformation of BOM Items from T to L in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  • In the creation of a purchase order using the app 'Process Purchase Requisitions V2', the BOM components are transformed from T (text items) to L (stackable items).
  • In the purchase requisition, the components are displayed correctly, but when transformed into a purchase order, the issue appears.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Resolution

The issue will be resolved with the 2502 release delivery, which will be generally available on 15.02.2025. Until then, the following workaround can be used:

  1. Use SAP GUI or the old purchase requisition app for creating purchase orders.
  2. Monitor for the release of the 2502 update and apply it when available.
