3542488 - Multiple Inbound Delivery for Purchase Order in ByDesign System

• More than one Inbound delivery created for a single purchase order.
• Items have already been received in one delivery.
• Unexpected creation of another delivery document by the system.

Confirmed Inbound Delivery.

1. Navigate to the Inbound Logistics work center.
2. Go to the Inbound Deliveries view.
3. Search for the Inbound delivery against the relevant purchase order.

The ByDesign system allows the creation of Inbound delivery notifications against a purchase order for which a delivery notification is already created. However, when the second delivery notification is created, the system displays an Information message at the time of creation and a warning message when the consistency of the document is checked.

• Information Message: All items are proposed. Item with Open Purchase Order Quantity greater than zero do not exist.
• Warning Message: Notification quantity exceeds open quantity plus over-delivery tolerance

The reported behavior is not a bug in the system. This is a flexibility provided in the system to account for dynamic changes at the time of delivery in your warehouse.
