3542590 - Not all MDF objects are available for selection in the Latest People Profile - Employee Central

Symptom

Only a few MDF objects are available for selection on new people profile (Full People Profile).

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Enable the latest People Profile in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  2. Observe that only a few MDF objects are available for selection on Configure People Profile.

Cause

MDF Custom Objects of all effective dating are supported - None, Basic, MCPD. Objects with Effective Dating From Parenting will not be supported.

Resolution

Ensure that the custom MDF Object being selected does not have Effective Dating From Parent.
