3542642 - Batches are being created with Restricted status

• New batches are being posted to Restricted Stock in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
• The batch created has the status restricted by default when posting goods receipt via MIGO.
• The expectation is that the initial status of new batches should be Unrestricted.

1. Create a new batch
2. The batch has restricted status

Configuration. It's possible to control whether new batches will be created with restricted status based on the material type.

For material type, there is an attribute to control the initial status of the batch, which is the "Initial Status" (IZUST) field. When this attribute of the material type is set to X, the batch initial will be set to 'Restricted'.

To avoid creating new batches with status restricted, follow these steps:

1. In Change Material app check the material type
   
   
   
2. Got to SSCUI/Activity 'Define Attributes of Material Types' (ID 103539).
   
   
   
3. Uncheck the field "Initial Status" (IZUST) for the material type assigned to the material. This will result in the batch being created with an unrestricted status.
