3542703 - How to Retrigger Failed Events in the Intelligent Services Center

Symptom

Is it possible to retrigger failed events in the Intelligent Services Center (ISC) and process them without redoing the source event from the module end?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Suite

Resolution

  • It is not possible to retrigger already processed events in ISC. ISC is a middleware framework that sits between the module publishing events and the executors of the actions configured in ISC actions.
  • Only when ISC processing encounters errors, then events will be retriggered automatically. If ISC encounters an error while processing the event, the event will be rejected. Later it will automatically try to process the rejected event for up to 9 times.

NOTE: There is no possibility to list the failed events in ISC.
