3542740 - Unable to use a device's hardware scanner with the SAP In-Store Merchandise and Inventory Management apps

Symptom

  • When using a scanning device (i.e. Zebra TC15) with any of the SAP In-Store Merchandise and Inventory Management apps (i.e. Receive Products, Transfer Products, Transfer Stock, Count Stock, Adjust Stock) the device does not read the barcode (GTIN code).   
  • Scanning is only possible when using the device's camera
