3543100 - Secure Login Service in Multiple tier landscape

Symptom

  • Secure Login Client (SLC) can be used for authenticating SAPGUI with Single Sign On (SSO) to the S/4 Hana on Premise and Cloud systems in conjunction
    with the Secure Login Service (subscription based cloud offer that provides users with X.509 certificates)
  • In the SLC only one host for the Policy Group can be set via option File -> Options -> Policy Groups - this is often used for testing
    limiting the authentication to other environments like Test or Production which may need to use different policy url string.
  • If you wish to have Development, Test or Production testing scenario then separate subscriptions for each environment are needed
