• Manually defined dimension hierarchy member orders are overwritten after refreshing import jobs.
• The issue is happening since the Q4 QRC update of SAC.

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2024.21.7
• Import data dimensions/models

1. Sign in to the SAC tenant.
2. Go to the modeler.
3. Go to a dimension in a model or to a public dimension.
4. Select Hierarchy management.
5. Notice that the order is different than it was defined before the last import data job.

This issue is being investigated by development.

Workaround:

1. Log a case to SAP Technical Support a case referring to this KBA.
2. Confirm your tenant url.
3. Add a written approval of applying the workaround from SAP side.
