3543385 - Error When Trying to Scope Messaging Activity in Business Configuration

When trying to scope messaging/SMS activity in the system it is not possible to finalize the scoping because of some of the errors below:

• "It is not possible to finalize your scope changes; some of your decisions would cause inconsistencies in your fine-tuning settings."
• "Value APCRM1_CHAT_IN is missing in Mapping of Interval Name With Number Range Type. Restore value before finish scoping"
• "Value APCRM1_CHAT is missing in Number Range Type. Restore value before finish scoping"
• "Foreign key error in node A1S_CRM_TRANTYPECDAC_PROC_TYPE; field INTERVAL_NAM_INT; Application component: LOD-LE-XCR"
• "Value APCRM1_CHAT_IN in setting A1S_CRM_TRANTYPECDAC_PROC_TYPE must also be entered in setting A1S_RSC_NR______RCNR_C_INT_TYP"
• "Solution profile check ended with content error"
• "Design Time check ended with content error"

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Open the Business Configuration work center.
2. Enter the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the current implementation project.
4. Click on the Edit Project Scope button.
5. Navigate to the Scoping Questions step.
6. Expand the path Sales -> Account and Activity Management.
7. Click on Activity Management.
8. Mark the checkbox for the question "Do you want to record messaging activity?".
9. Proceed to finish the scoping.

When scoping message activity, there is an internal dependency which requires the scoping of chat activity as well.

In order to resolve the issue and scope the message activity, it is also needed to scope chat activity by following the same steps above and checking question "Do you record chat activities?".
