3543585 - How to change EM and heap quota dynamically

Symptom

There is memory related short dump, e.g. TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED. It is required to increase EM or heap quota defined by below parameters.

  • ztta/roll_extension
  • abap/heap_area_dia 
  • abap/heap_area_nondia
  • abap/heap_area_total

But the SAP system cannot be restarted to make the profile parameter change take effect. How to change them dynamically?
