3543734 - In Latest People Profile, The Job description Link is Missing in Job information - 2H 2024

After the 2H 2024 release update, the Job description field in the Full profile of the Latest People Profile no longer displays a details link.

SAP SuccessFactors Latest People Profile

1. Navigate to the user's Latest People Profile.
2. Go to the Job data section.
3. Select Job Information.
4. See that no Job Description link is available

• It is currently expected behavior that the Job Description link is not available in the Latest People Profile.
• This functionality is planned to be enhanced in the future releases, please follow this KBA for the updates.
• Please check the Product road map and What's new viewer to get more information.

Workarounds:

1. Access Role Details in Growth Portfolio, under Roles and Aspirations:
   NOTE: Only available if Growth Portfolio and Latest Career Worksheet are enabled in the instance.
   
2. Access Role Details in Development > Career Worksheet, under My Current Roles tab:
   
3. Access Role Details in Succession > Open Position card > Action Menu > View Role Details:
   
4. Disable Latest People Profile by deselecting the setting "Enable Full Profile for the latest People Profile" in "Company System and Logo Settings" tool.
