Symptom
- System removes confirmations on existing customer demands.
- This behavior is observed after the Confirmation Update Run is executed
Environment
Customer Requirement
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Outbound Logistics Control work center
- Navigate to the Customer Demand view
- Search and Select the relevant customer demand document
Observe that the item which was confirmed sufficiently is not confirmed any more after the confirmation update run was executed
Cause
- Confirmation Update Runs deletes the existing confirmations on all the items in the orders which are selected, for availability check by the run
- The Availability check is executed on all the selected order items in the sequence maintained as per Sorting Parameters in the confirmation update run
Resolution
- Go to Outbound Logistics Control work center
- Navigate to the Automated Actions view and choose the option Confirmation Update Runs
- Select the relevant run and choose the Edit button
- Select the tab Net Change Run and select the field Product with Availability-Relevant Changes Only
- Save and Close the run
- Set the status of the run to Active
Once the mentioned field is marked and run Active, the orders for which the products have any changes in their stock situation only will be picked up for availability check.
