How to remove a sub entity record using the data import & export tool?

Environment
- SAP Sales Cloud Version 2
- SAP Service Cloud Version 2
Resolution
The following steps will use the removal of account team members as an example.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Data import and export view.
- Click on export button.
- Select affected entity e.g. Account.
- Select complete entity.
- Select Excel file.
- Apply filter for wanted record.
- Click on export data.
- Download exported file.
- Extract all files.
- Open the file with the record for removal, e.g. Account_Account_Team_Member file.
- In the last column, in the header, set the name as to_be_deleted
- Under, to_be_deleted column set as TRUE for wanted line.
- Save the file.
- Zip all the files from the export together.
- Open Data import and export view.
- Click on Import.
- Select Update method.
- Select affected entity e.g. Account.
- Select complete entity.
- Ignore blank values.
- Select Excel type.
- Click on import data.
- The task status should be completed.
