3543995 - New Learning Experience: Catalog Search Doesn't Return Result When Category Filter Empty

Symptom

After navigating to the catalog search and attempting search in the search bar, it shows ‘Let’s get some result’ on the screen.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. From the SF Platform Page, navigate to View My Learning
  2. Ensure New Learning Experience is enabled
  3. Click 'Browse Library'
  4. Select any Category from the pop-up menu to perform the Category-based search
  5. Clear the category by unchecking it from the filters menu on the left
  6. Attempt to perform a search in the top search bar
  7. Observe that the search does not return results

Cause

This is a defect.

Resolution

This fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 1H 2025 release (b2505).

Workaround:

Since the searching keyword in category search is not available at the moment. The workaround is to refresh the page by browser refresh and data will be loaded.
