Symptom
- SAP HANA database becomes unresponsive when a remote NFS mount point (e.g.,
/sapbackup
) becomes unavailable. - Log backups fail and hang the database with errors such as:
Cannot open file "/sapbackup/HDB_GRD/backup/log/SYSTEMDB/.log_backup_..."
- Database does not recover automatically after the mount point is restored and requires a manual restart.
