3544225 - Unable to Delete Registered Products in Status In Preparation

• Registered Products in status 'In Preparation' cannot be deleted.
• No 'Delete' button is visible for Registered Products in status 'In Preparation'.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the Service Entitlements work center.
2. Select the Registered Products view.
3. Select the Registered Product.
4. Observe that there is no 'Delete' button, even if the Registered Product is in status 'In Preparation'.

• The system does not currently support the deletion of Registered Products, even if they are in status 'In Preparation'.

If you don't intend to use the Registered Products anymore, you can mark them as Obsolete or Blocked.

1. Go to the Service Entitlements work center.
2. Select the Registered Products view.
3. Select the Registered Product.
4. Click on the 'Change Status' button and select the option 'Obsolete' or 'Blocked' as per the requirement.
5. Note: If the Registered Product is in status 'In Preparation', it needs to be first set to 'Active' and then to 'Obsolete' or 'Blocked'.
