3544468 - Stock Transfer Order: No Journal Entry Created for Warehouse Confirmation

A stock transfer order is created in the system to transfer goods from Business Residence A to Business Residence B of the company. However, in the process of the stock transfer order, no journal entry is created for the outbound warehouse confirmation or the related goods and activity confirmation.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to Outbound Logistics Control - Customer Demand view.
2. Search for the specific stock transfer order.
3. Select the order, edit and view all.
4. Navigate to the document flow tab.
5. Extend all.
6. Locate to the outbound warehouse confirmation and observe that there is no journal entry associated with it.

This is the expected system behavior.

The journal entry is only generated for the inbound warehouse confirmation. In the journal entry of the inbound warehouse confirmation, the inventory amount is credited to the original business residence and debited to the new business residence.
