3544489 - Product Quantities are Different Between Report Inventory Balance and Report Physical Inventory Count

Product quantities are not matching between Report Inventory Balance and Report Physical Inventory Count for the same Site.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Analytics Work Center.
2. Navigate to Design Reports View.
3. Search for Physical Inventory Count.
4. Pass Selection parameters such as desired product ID and Site ID.
5. Can see Product Actual quantity.

Then,

1. Go to Business Analytics Work Center.
2. Navigate to Design Reports View.
3. Search for Inventory Balance Report.
4. Pass Selection parameters such as desired product ID and Site ID.
5. Can see Ending quantity which is not equal to the Actual quantity in Report Physical Inventory Count.

There is a difference of quantities between the two reports due to backdated posting of warehouse confirmations.

Inventory Balance report works on the actual execution date and not the creation date, hence there might be quantities difference in both reports. This is a standard system behavior.
