3545003 - Table Blended Visualization in story 2.0 is not supported

Symptom

The feature to see data values from different models in a single blended widget is called blended visualization (or blended data, or blending).

This feature is not released yet for the table widget in story 2.0.

The blended visualization feature is released only for chart so far in story 2.0.

When you create a chart widget, you can see an additional button under the model name called "+ Add Linked Models". This allows a blended widget to show data values from multiple models.

And for table in story 2.0, you can see that it lacks this button.

SAP Analytics Cloud Enterprise

Resolution

Table blended visualization is releasing as a beta release in Q1QRC 2025.

Before that, you can try using this feature with blended chart in story 2.0, or use both blended chart and table in classic story. But please be aware that classic story is being deprecated soon.

When you don't add both models into the widget with the "Add Linked Models" button, the link dimensions work as a different feature called "Filter Across Model', which filters the data values in the widget by the values from the other linked model. But you cannot see the values from the other model in the widget.
